Hello, Dinky Dana here. This is my review for the game Demon’s Souls for the Playstation 3. It is a dark fantasy RPG. The game is very challenging but well worth the purchase. It can be imported from China or will be released in the US October 2009. Any RPG fan should definitely play this game. It’s amongst the greatest rpg’s released on the newer consoles thus far. it can be co-op and you see ghosts of people walking around but i think u can bring ppl into ur game. i just bought it
kind if like co op when you summon to a different players world, but it is very linear and you cannot roam around
thanks but what happens if you choose the good ending? do you get a blue stone to summon blue phantoms?
is there like an online campaign co op thing or is it like WoW where u roam around ?
You can use a red stone as many times as you’d like. There is a choice at the end of the game that determines the ending.
Don’t pass on this game because of it’s plot. If you are looking for a game like Oblivion just play Fallout 3.
@DlNKYDANA how many times can you use a red stone and how do you get a bad or good ending?

Well that’s a total bummer. From the preview it looks pretty cool but I’m not wanting to get a game with hardly a plot. Any suggestions?
if a black phantom kills a blue phantom the bp does get souls. i got 10k from one blue phantom, but only 4k from killing 2 blues right after.
you run around killing enemies by yourself, thats as close to oblivion as this gets. this is very linear, it has a semi online mullitplayer…thing. almost no story, almost noone to talk to other then merchants and the maiden in black. it is an action rpg, but its not open world do whatever you want. its 5 different “worlds” all connected by a central area. 3-4 levels per world with a boss at the end of each level.
Would you say this game was anything like Oblivion?
this game has 11 things:1- weapons
2- shields 3- spells 4- miracles 5- armor
6- demons 7- demons 8- demons 9- demons 10- DARKNESS and finally…MORE DEMONS
There are two ways for a black phantom to invade. The first is to use a black stone to invade a live players game and this will result in zero souls for the black phantom. The second way is to use a red stone (received after completing the game with bad ending). When you use the red stone, it appears as a red message challenging the live player to a fight. If the black phantom wins this duel, then he receives a level worth of the enemies souls.

Are you sure? I havent engaged in PVP yet but i read everywhere that if the black phantom wins, the invaded player loses a soul level (one stat point) and the invading player gains the number of souls which that is worth.
man im thinkin of gettin it you know but i really want bioshock 2 it has multiplayer
This game has tons of replay, at least for me it did. I beat it 4 times! lol
ok is there re playability because im indecesive wether to get this darkvoid or army of 2 40th day or biohsock 2
Thanks for clarifying. I hadn’t delved too deep into the multiplayer at the time of this review. Mainly it just helped me get to pure black.
Love the review, and I highly recommend this game, it’s great.
You said that if a black phantom wins he gets our souls, I just want to clarify that they do not get anything out of being a black phantom except becoming a human again and a feeling of power.
I must suck then, because i have no fucking clue how to go pure black, pure white, pure anything.
I had no problems with the world tendencies other than it being a pain in the ass to get to pure white after killing the bosses and primeval demons.
Yea i’m not really sure what is going on with that 4th archstone, and the way world tendacy works is kinda sketchy…i guess untill further notice play as +1
