You have no idea what you’re talking about if you think the PSN is just as fast as LIVE, because it’s quite obvious once you put a side-by-side comparison of both networks with the same game.
Just look at how fast it loads a game of MW2 and you’ll see. If you don’t, than you’re in denial and should stop commenting cause it just show’s you’re an ignorant troll.

You know what guys think about it if you were a programmer for xbox live and it was free then you would either not get paid or the company would have to pay you from other money and therefor the company would RAPIDLY lose money and other things would be more expensive so think about it, would you rather pay a little bit for an unnecessary service or pay more for necessary stuff.
NOTE: PROGRAMMING IS HARD MENTAL WORK AND IS NOT A FAST PROCESS THEREFOR THEY ARE ALWAYS NEEDED AND ON STAFF.
PS3 is going to change so you have to pay for it I dont know the price though

On the subject of paying 50 bucks a year for xbox live. If you bought the pro console when it came out you payed 400 bucks, if you bought the PS3 it cost 600 bucks when it came out. So basically for the price to even out and PSN to actually start becoming free for the value you would have to have played PSN for 4 years.
I said bucks instead of dollars for some reason.

i agree with you put i dont care much bout xbox live i play games offline i buy or download a game and then play it i play online on pc (i dont buy almost any games to pc have total bought like 20 )
